Identifying trends and opportunities across your list
Use the Marketing Snapshot to sort your titles and look for strengths and weaknesses, or prioritize your list based on your current focus.
- Do you have consistently low marks for Product Page Optimization? You may find some of the same issues across a number of titles, which could suggest a change in best practices going forward.
- Do you have any under-performing products? Are there titles where you expected the scores to be higher based on either the author brand or the marketing efforts that have been made? This could signal that some of your promotional activities are not working according to plan.
- Where are you doing well? Identify titles with strong Web & Social Activity, for instance, that may be good candidates for a promotion to help leverage that activity and interest into sales.
- In general, look for areas of misalignment. Where are you strong in one area, but weak in another? When one performance metric is significantly better or worse than another, that's a strong signal there's something you can do to close that gap and improve awareness, drive more interest and traffic to the book, and grow sales.
