• BISAC Category:  Book Industry Standards and Communications. These are industry approved subject descriptors.
• Brand Category:  Publisher defined category set up through the client manager and maintained in CoreSource.
• Canadian Price:  The price the book is sold in Canada.
• Carton Disposition:  Instructions for how to handle the unit or carton return of a product.  The code values are: C - Categorized Remainder, D - Destroy and R- Restock.
• Client Cost:  The cost assigned to the book in the title management system.
• Discount Code:  Discount Code defines the discount class to which an item belongs.
• EAN: 13-digit code used to identify the product (ISBN).

Expected Receipts Measures

• Expected Inventory: Inventory we expect to receive from the publisher.

Inventory Snapshot Measures

• Available with Notice: Units of stock that is deemed good but is housed in the Returns department.  Notice needed to retrieve the stock.
• Awaiting Restock: Units of ending inventory from returns in a sellable condition but not yet in a sellable location.
• Beginning Inventory: Sum of inventory at the beginning of the calendar period.
• Ending Inventory: Sum of inventory at the end of a reporting period once inventory transactions are applied.
• Hurt: Units of ending inventory that are not in a sellable condition.
• In Transit: Units in transit to a distribution center based upon a transfer from another distribution center.
• In Transit Damages: Units in transit to a distribution center based upon a transfer from another distribution center.
• In Transit Returns: Units in transit to a distribution center based upon a transfer from another distribution center.
• Locked: Units of ending inventory that are unavailable for orders.
• On Premise Sale: Units of ending inventory that are picked and packed not yet shipped.
• Sellable: Units of ending inventory that are in a sellable condition and location in a distribution center.

Inventory Transaction Measures

• Adjustments: Indicator of any adjustments made to an items inventory.
• Damaged Transfer: Indicator if transfer was a damaged title.
• Destroyed:  Units destroyed.
• Receipts: Units received
• Restocked: Returned units that are placed back into sellable locations in a DC.
• Returns: Units returned.
• Shipped: Units shipped.
• Transferred: Units transferred between IPS warehouses.
