CoreSource Plus iQ User FAQs

Does this include all my digital sales? 

Not necessarily. This report reflects all sales made via Ingram through the CoreSource Plus program. If you work directly with any channels, those sales should be reported directly to you and will not be reflected here. 

Does this view align with my eBook Sales report from Lightning Source or does it replace it? 

This enhances your publisher compensation report but doesn’t replace it. Your publisher compensation report is the final, audited status of your CoreSource Plus sales and accounts for CoreSource Plus fees and any returns. 

– This dashboard simply reflects your overall aggregated Digital Sales by partner, format, currency and country, and highlights your top sales.  

There isn’t any data in my dashboard. What is wrong?

 

There are several reasons why data might not be available in your dashboard. Here are few to explore. 

Date: 
Utilize the date options at the upper right corner of each dashboard. You may be reviewing a sales period where the sales have not yet posted for the month. Get a broader view by looking at PREVIOUS 12 MONTHs , YTD or LAST YEAR. You may also customize a date rage.  

No sales: 

There may be occasions where no data is available because no sales occurred. Please check your publisher compensation reports.  

Where are my library sales? 

For now, your library partner sales appear  together with retailer sales. 

Why are my cover images missing from my Best Sellers Summary?

A cover image for the title may not be present in CoreSource. There is also a known bug in this view that we are working to resolve. To be sure your images are available, please check your CoreSource instance to ensure your images are present and cleared for distribution.  

Why is my unit price incorrect? 

This report shows sales at the unit price at which the asset was sold. If the list price was updated after a sale was made, the unit price in this reporting reflects the earlier price offered. 

What do these currency buttons do? 

CoreSource Plus normalizes sales to US Dollars. If you’d like to view your sales directly converted to Australian Dollar, Euro, or Pound Sterling, you can do so with these buttons. Note, this does not relate only to titles that are priced in these currencies or sales that were made in these currencies. This is a global dashboard view for all sales.
